Sisters and most importantly mommies, Jaime Shoemaker and Lisa Thomas created the concept of Sprout Boutique shortly after the birth of Lisa’s twins, Mackenzie and Stephen in May of 2008.

Jaime, a stay-at-home mom to Cameryn, Alyson and Erin; and Lisa who was working part-time, wanted to find a way to work together, but most importantly be able to spend as much time as humanly possible with their children. After being frustrated with the lack of selection of affordable, yet eclectic and cute accessories for infants and toddlers on the Monterey Peninsula, they decided to take a gamble and began working to conceive, what is now their newest baby ~ Sprout Boutique.

Drawing upon Lisa’s almost 10 years of experience in public relations and marketing and Jaime’s background in education and mommy-dom – as well as the support and unconditional love from their husbands, Jon and Steve AND their parents Nate and Terry, Sprout has blossomed from a home-based business of trunk shows and personal shopping, into one of the newest storefronts in the heart of Lisa and Jaime's hometown, Pacific Grove, California.

Jaime and Lisa believe they have the recipe for success and look forward to sharing their dream with you!

About Sprout
Sprout Boutique features unique, yet practical items for infants, and toddlers and big kids, with a focus on clothing and accessories that are eclectic, unique and most importantly, memorable! Many of the items found at Sprout Boutique are hand-crafted original designs, responsibly-made and sustainable.

From socks to shoes, hats and clippies, blankies and cuddly friends, Jaime and Lisa have drawn upon their experience as mommies and aunties to carry items that leave a lasting impression.

As mommies of five kids under the age of 10, Jaime and Lisa do not have the store open every day of the week just yet, but are available for personal shopping appointments and group shopping appointments on the days Sprout is not open. Please do not hesitate contacting them if you wish to shop in the evenings or at your convenience.
